BEGINNER FOUNDATION course
WELCOME TO YOUR BEGINNER FOUNDATION TRAINING
We’ve built this course to teach you the fundamentals of jump rope training so you can get the most out of this fun training style.
Throughout this course, you will go from complete beginner to being able to string together at least 100 jumps in a row without tripping up.
Our goal is to make you comfortable with the rope.
We’re going to show you how to prepare yourself for training, the fundamentals of jumprope technique, how to expand your repertoire with simple skills variations, how to build your own workouts, and how to do so while minimizing your chances of injury.
There’s a lot to cover and we hope you enjoy the journey.
HOW TO GO THROUGH THIS COURSE
We’ve created this course to be interactive.
Unfortunately, you can’t learn how to jump by reading or even watching. You have to put the drills and techniques into action. We want you to take what you find in this course and actually go out and apply it in your practice sessions.
And we’ve made it easy for you to do that.
Each section has a checklist of items for you to take away and put into action. These will be drills that you can incorporate into your practice sessions.
So start by reading through this course once all the way through. That will give you an idea of how it is structured and what the progressions are like.
Once you do that, go through each section again individually and print out the associated checklist of action items to practice.
If you have questions about any of the items in this course, feel free to reach out to us in our private Facebook community or email us at [email protected]
Good luck!
