THE FUNDAMENTALS OF JUMP ROPE TRAINING
In this section, we’re going to cover the fundamentals of jump rope technique.
We’re going to show you what good jump rope technique looks like and the drills you need to practice to learn this technique.
Keep in mind that learning good jump rope technique takes time and practice. This is like learning a new skill and it will take some time to get right.
One thing that can help you speed up the learning curve is a heavier rope.
We’ve discussed this in the equipment section, but I just wanted to remind you that a heavier rope will offer better feedback as you practice these drills.
If you have a Crossrope set, use either the ½ Lb Energy rope or 1 Lb Intensity rope to work through these drills. You can get them both in our Plus Set.
